There will be several events leading up to the Canada A vs. Argentina Jaguars game. All events will be posted here. Planning for a welcoming reception, rugby coaching and playing clinics as well as an exclusive post match celebration with both teams is underway. Stay tuned for a week of great rugby events.

Municipal civic reception
Both teams and the media will be welcomed at a Municipal Civic Reception on October 18th at the Chatham Cultural Centre, exclusively sponsored by OLG.
All you can eat buffet and fundraiser at Boston Pizza
The Kent Havoc Rugby Club is holding an ‘All-you-can-eat” dinner fundraiser in Chatham to promote the upcoming international rugby game. Game tickets will be on sale that evening. The dinner will include pasta, pizza & salad for $20 and the evening will also will include a silent auction and some raffles.

Meet the team
Boston Pizza will host both teams at a meet and greet at their 780 St. Clair Street restaurant. Chatham-Kent residents are invited to join members of the teams on Monday, October 19th.
Drop by at 7 pm to meet the Canadian team, the Argentina team will be at Boaton Pizza at 9 pm. This casual evening is open to the general public for free and is an opportunity to socialize with these elite professional athletes in a relaxed atmosphere.

Local school outreach
While staging the Canada Selects and England Counties game, the Club and the community staged a number of social events and a very successful community outreach program. Part of game week activities, the club took several international players into elementary schools in Chatham, Wallaceburg and Ridgetown, introducing rugby to five and six grade students in laughter-filled clinics. The players couldn’t get enough of the students’ enthusiastic response and the kids couldn’t get enough of the players’ riveting presentation of this unfamiliar game.
Interest in this year's Schools Outreach program has more than doubled. This year team members from Argentina and Canada we will be visiting 12 local schools, reaching out to over 1,000 boys and girls in Grade 7 & 8. Players from both teams will be spending most of Tuesday Oct. 20th with these up & coming rugby hopefuls, teaching them about the sport and what it takes to become an elite professional athlete.

Post Game Banquet Tickets
Tickets are also available for anyone who would like to attend the post game banquet with both teams. The cost of the ticket is $35.00. The banquet will be held in the Wheels Inn Main Ballroom at 7:30 pm. Post game banquet tickets will be available at all ticket locations.
