Don't miss elite national athletes playing
At the top of their game

Chatham-Kent's Rugby Club, Kent Havoc RFC, is hosting an international rugby game between Canada Selects and England Counties -- two national teams from England and Canada. This is a rare, can't miss opportunity to see elite athletes competing on an international stage. As the game will be played at the Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex, behind Chatham-Kent Secondary School, you'll get a closer view of these athletes than in any other stadium in which they'll play. Come see some of the best athletes that England and Canada have to offer-up close and personal. Prior to playing in Chatham, the England Counties team will play two games against the United States "A" team. Those first two games will be played in New York City on June 6th and Boston on June 9th.

The Venue -- Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex
(at Chatham-Kent Secondary School)
The Chatham-Kent Community Athletic Complex is a joint project between the Municipality of Chatham-Kent and the Lambton Kent District School Board. The stadium has bleacher seating capacity of 1,000 people and also has a small press box. The permanent bleachers are also fully accessible for persons with physical disabilities. The Complex includes a new electronic scoreboard and sound system with wireless microphones that can be used at field level. Organizers are planning to bring in additional, temporary bleacher seating for this game.

Plans for further improving the Athletic Complex facilities are also currently being developed. Options being considered include adding stadium lights as well as washroom, dressing room and a concession stand building on site.
