Medical Help

2018 Kent Havoc Rugby Club

Volunteer Medical Positions

To whom it may concern,

The Kent Havoc Rugby club is looking to expand on its medical team.  We are one of rugby Ontario‚Äôs newest clubs but have established a strong Management Team.  Our club aims to grow the sport from mini age up to seniors.  We strive to be an open club that accepts all and find a spot for everyone on and off the field.

The club already has a fantastic medical team but looking to expand to help with all programs, in particular the junior men’s/women’s programs.  Everything from minor injuries to diagnosing/assisting with major injuries.  We are a not for profit organization so we are looking for volunteers to assist players on the field.  Great position to gain experience for students to build up the resume.

Some duties listed are:

  • Make an effort to attend practices to check up on players
  • Work in a team environment with the other medical staff
  • Make an effort to attend home games
  • Make an effort to attend road games
  • Socialize with all the club members at club fixtures/functions

Practices run Mondays through Thursdays 6:30 to 8pm.  Games are played on Saturdays for the Senior Men and minis.  Juniors play on Sundays or possible Saturdays.
